About Isabel
Hello my wonderful mamas! I am a birth doula and childbirth educator serving the greater Murfreesboro, Franklin, Shelbyville, and Southern Nashville areas. My journey in the birth world has taken me many places, but I'm so glad I get to serve families in Tennessee. I am firstly a daughter of Jesus, wife to my loving husband, then a midwifery student and doula. I am currently studying to be a home birth midwife, but in the meantime I love being a birth doula. I think I might be addicted to birth, just a little bit. My passion is to guide families into a positive and empowering birth experience. Giving birth is a life-changing event and it is my privilege to walk next to you in this process.

As your doula, I will help prepare you for one of the most important events of your life; guiding you through birth traning and supporting you through every stage of labor. I want you to have the birth of your dreams, and am honored that I get to walk beside you in this journey.
I offer group and private childbirth classes for every kind of family. Whether you are having a home birth or a planned cesarean section, every mother deserves to be informed and empowered during her birth. During these classes we will learn about how the body works and how you can walk through labor with confidence.
Why should I hire a doula?
A doula is an individual who is soley focused on the wellbeing of the laboring mother and her family during labor and birth. A doula has training which equips her for supporting the laboring woman in her unique desires for birth. Birth in a life-changing expereince for every family, and a doula guides you through the process with education, physical support, emotional comfort, and a steady head during marathon of labor. Doulas can be especially helpful for first-time parents who are walking into the unknown.
